| Mount Pleasant School, Livingston, NJ
DRG designed a new primary wing on the south side of the school and new administrative offices on the west side, and also planned construction so that classes and administrative work could continue uninterrupted. This allowed the school district to use all new areas six months sooner. This schedule was critical because the project became the model for renovating all of Livingston's schools. Had the Mount Pleasant School not been completed on time, the plan for all six schools would have needed to be put off until the following year.
DRG's schedule also had to allow for temporary housing during construction. |
